Rosalia Vila aka Rosalia is an Spanish Pop/Flamenco singer. As a teenager, she has worked with traditional as well as popular music. But, her music interests have widened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela has described her voice as sweet and sharp, however she still having the grit of more mature singers. Her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough that topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately receiving a Grammy. The track La Fama with The Weeknd came out. Motomami is her 3rd album that was full-length. It featured collaborations on songwriting with other musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The release date was March 20, 2022, after the show of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish artist to perform as a solo performer on the show. Motomami was her album which has won three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female artist to receive an award for Latin Album of the Year award twice.
