MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global advancements into Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) won the Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was made available in 2017 by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution company. Its Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina that year. He appeared later in 2021 as a duo with TINI on her streaming hit single Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo came from a household of music his mother and older brother are both musicians. In interviews, Turizo declared that music is a must. As a child, he was taught to perform on the guitar, piano and ukulele. While his initial career goal was becoming an animal veterinarian but his brother Julian convinced him to try studying singing with a Cuban. It revolutionized his entire life.
