Audrey Justine Tautou, a French actress and model, rose to fame internationally with her character as an exaggerated waitress that won numerous awards in the romantic comedy Amelie. Tautou's charm, charisma and acting skills have led to her being compared with Audrey Hepburn. She is an ideal blend of appearance and talents. Though she was born into an intelligent family with dark hair, her mother and father were both dentists and teachers. The acting profession was not the first thing she planned on doing. Born in France she appeared in several French films prior to becoming a star in her Hollywood debut along with Tom Hanks in the film The Da Vinci Code.
